To actually make the rods you will need to have the rods as straight as the can be and have two blocks of wood. With those two blocks of wood you will need to drill a hole straight through each block near the ends of the blocks, and the hole will need to fit the rod in diameter. after each hole is drilled, that fits the rods, you will take your rod and put it through both blocks of wood. After the rod is through both blocks of wood you must make sure that the 1/3 mark of the rod is in between the two blocks. When the rod is positioned correctly you can now bend the rod at a 90 degree angle using the blocks of wood. Just take the blocks of wood and bend them away from each other.
How to make Dowsing Rods

The Structure:
The structure of the dowsing rods is very basic. You can use brass rods or even copper rods to make them. The rods need to be 36" long and 1/8" in diameter, the rods can also be 18" long if your materials are limited. Bothe rods are going t be bent at a 90 degree angle 1/3 the way down each rod. If the rods are not straight when you originally buy them, you can try and bend them by hand to make them as straight as you can get it. The brass rods will work better than the copper rods, however the copper rods work as well!
